Peter Culbert has nearly 20 years of professional experience working across a variety of sectors such as Industrial Electric, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Oil & Gas.
In that time, Mr. Culbert has been involved in many projects that required various levels of expertise, including being part of Systematic Fault and Critical Failure Investigation teams.
Currently, Peter assists our clients with the implementation of Functional Safety according to the IEC standards applicable (IEC 61511, 61508, 62061, or 62443), and performs audits for companies focusing on their System Design and Maintenance processes.
He specializes in Automation & Control Functionality, Instrumentation Systems, and Integration/Commissioning, with a strong background in Maintenance management and delivery, from both an Automated, Electrical and Project Management scope. Additionally, in recent years Peter has provided coaching and mentorship across these areas according to corporate and client requirements.
Mr. Culbert was formerly a Senior Systems Engineer with KCA Deutag International Drilling & Engineering company for 10 years where he was responsible for the delivery of Safe, Trouble-free Operations on behalf of BP Oil & Energy in Azerbaijan. Prior to that, utilizing his background as an Industrial Electrician, he spent many years working on different scopes of local and national engineering & maintenance projects with a variety of different clients, including Dell Computers and Johnson & Johnson.
