Jonathan joins exida as the Director of Advanced Systems and has over 20 years of automotive and robotics experience in systems engineering, failure mode avoidance, and standards based software development. He joins from Autonomous Solutions Inc., where he was the Chief Engineer responsible for functional safety, product development, failure mode avoidance, and certification.
Prior to Autonomous Solutions Inc. Jonathan held engineering and management positions at Ford Motor Company focused on bringing new technology to market in with global assignments including UK, Germany, Spain, and China. Jonathan is also a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) in Agriculture and Mining, helping develop driverless versions of their sector safety standards.
Jonathan will take a leadership role in growing the automotive and robotics solutions offering and in supporting new and existing customers in this space. “Jonathan’s deep technical expertise in ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and other functional safety standards combined with his practical, hands on approach to solving problems will help our customers meet the increasing demands on their engineering teams and products”, said Dr. William M.
